logit

Project

Logit Systems origin is from ideas developed through several EU projects at the beginning of this century. The participation in the EU project D2D from 2001 to 2005 led to a commercial contract with Norwegian Post Logistics (Bring Logistics) in 2005. Logit signed a new EU contract for the Freightwise project in 2006 (2006-2010). The Freightwise objective is to develop a Management Framework for Intelligent Intermodal Transport to support standardized electronic information exchange between actors (especially SME's) in multimodal transport chains. Our involvement in Freightwise as well as other EU projects and commercial contracts gave us the opportunity to secure the contract for developing an e-Logistics Platform for Flanders Institute of Logistics in Belgium in 2009. Summer 2009 Logit decided to further develop the concept of Logit D2D into what is currently known as G-Logistics Services and Products based on 10 years of research and development within EU-projects and commercial contracts. The last few years we have seen EU-projects turning into commercial contacts and pilot projects with large actors in transport and logistics, e.g. Siemens, DHL og Procter & Gamble.

In parallel with the development of G-Logsitics and D2D the company has since 2006 developed a Logit SEA Fleet Manager solution for the world's largest LNG operators in Qatar. The Fleet Manager is based on the same technology platform as Logit D2D. In Qatar we have a long term assignment to further develop and maintain the Logit SEA Fleet Manager solution. Logit Systems has received a Letter of Recommendation from Honeywell proving our capability to deliver to and work with larger corporations and customers like Honeywell, RasGas and Qatargas in a large and long term international project like the Qatar Supply Chain Management Solution (SCMS) project.
